Our story
The story of Moliva starts with Matijs van Leent's love and passion for Andalusia. During my studies in Spain I got to know the people, culture and environment of Andalusia. I liked the outdoor lifestyle, and the importance of enjoying food and drinks with great company of friends and family. An important part of this lifestyle is the Mediterranean diet, with extra virgin olive oil at its core.
Back in the Netherlands, I was surprised how little olive oil could be traced back to Andalusia, despite the fact that 20% of the world's olive oil is produced here. This has led to the idea of founding Moliva and sharing the story of delicious, super healthy, 100% Andalusian olive oil.
